Truthful Tuesday
I have always envied people who can just sit and think. My brain goes a million miles an hour and so I have never had a calm moment staring at the sea or barefoot in the grass, just thinking about things or creating a plan on how to win the talent contest and save my town (the basis of every movie). Instead it’s like “Great! A moment of calm! Let’s start thinking about every conceivable work project and how much pressure there is to do so many things! Oh! And what about the deadline? And when was the last time you called your mother? You’re terrible! Go online RIGHT NOW and book an eyebrow plucking! Then get that spreadsheet fired up. Just think, if you spend all weekend working on this stuff then maybe Monday won’t be so bad. Yes it will. You should eat a Twinkie. What? Who likes Twinkies? NO ONE. There’s no chocolate! Ugh, chocolate sounds good but we have to format all those CSV files for the database so we should probably do that and let everyone else have their Zen moment at the ocean.”
