Plus, beginning January 1, 2012, Disney Parks.com is giving away a vacation package every day until February 29, 2012!”

Hey Disney nerds! Join me at Disneyland for TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF DISNEY! For the first time ever, the park is open 24 hours. I’ll be on Space Mountain at 3am, thinking of you….

Ugh, no thanks. The last time I did an 18 hours power tour of all of Disney World I could barely walk the next day due to massive blisters. But we managed to hit all four parks and a good 70% of the rides. (we had a friend come back from Turkey and he brought his girlfriend who had never been to America, let alone Disney. We had to do it right. )

I can’t imagine the damage 24 hours in Disney would reap on my body. Plus, if it is anywhere as crowded as the park gets on New Years Eve, the majority of the time will be spent waiting in line.

Oh, heck no! To clarify: I am an annual passholder for Disneyland and I live 15 minutes from the park. We are planning to arrive at 3am and go on rides for a couple of hours and then go home. I am what we call a “passhole” - I don’t like to wait in long lines and don’t go when the parks are busy. Every time we go, it’s for a few hours so we avoid tired feet and heat exhaustion and all that jazz.

I feel endless sympathy for the people who try to Do It All! in one visit. I see those families who are tired and uncomfortable and spent so much money that they have to get entertainment value. I wish that no one had to do that. It’s so much better when you can take your time and see things at a nice pace.
