About 20 times a day my laptop drops the wireless connection. I notice it within, say, 60 seconds and when I open the wifi finder, it shows my wireless in range and at 90%. So I reconnect. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
It happens to all of our wifi connected devices (iphone, other laptop, etc.) so I’m thinking maybe it’s the router? Does that even make sense? The internet signal is persistent (for example, the Roku is connected via an ethernet cable and it never seems to lose signal) so maybe the router itself has hiccups?
I have something of an addiction for books. I get a bit obsessed. Last night I actually got angry about having to put my book down to go to sleep because I had an early meeting today. That’s stupid, right? Like, people jones for booze or drugs or coffee and I jones for books.
I blame Amy Tan. JUDGE ME IF YOU WILL but I really like her writing and I never want to put it down.
I am having grandma watch the kids at her house for a couple of hours this evening so that I can….ready?
I just told her that I had “things to do”.
I never ask anyone to watch the kids unless it’s date night or an emergency.
I actually laughed out loud at this. Shannon has left her kids with a babysitter for probably 4 hours in the past 12 years. So, clearly, she should feel INSURMOUNTABLE GUILT for taking one night off. :)
